Various Sights

Here are a series of photographs... no particular reason or even knowledge of what or where, but they are representative of what I have seen in Istanbul.

Spices and produce.

The "Evil Eye" is sold everywhere!

As is pottery...

Mosque after mosque after mosque.  All gorgeous.

Friendly shop keepers.  This guy was a super salesman, and had me tasting various things.  I promised him I would be back - and I will be.  He said, among other things, "Lemon salt for your gin & tonics."  I think that sold me.  And then he asked me to take his photo.

Copper goods too, and lots of coffee grinders.

Crowds and street shops.

This outside staircase was near a pottery store.  Hmmm.

They do like their pictures taken in the street markets!
